Here is a tune I wrote for internationally celebrated vampire author (and dear friend) Nancy Kilpatrick in anticipation of her soon to be released novella Vampyre Theatre.

This song (“Goddamn Snake”) is based on one of the main characters called ‘Aleron’, a particularly nasty, powerful and ancient vampire.

Baron Marcus is proud to be releasing a song especially written for Nancy Kilpatrick’s novella: “Nancy Kilpatrick's Vampyre Theatre”.

The song “Goddamn Snake” is a tribute to ‘Aleron’, one of the key characters in Nancy Kilpatrick’s upcoming novella “Vampyre Theatre”.

“It’s a dark refection on one of Nancy Kilpatrick’s literary vampire characters, and also a comment on the mechanics of human social power” says Baron Marcus about the song. “I find Nancy’s vampires inspiring and of course hauntingly familiar, so the song came smooth and easy – but with a bite.”

“I’ve been a big fan of Nancy Kilpatrick for many years, and it is a great honour to help celebrate the release of her work” says the Baron.
